Did you know, if you need to reference multiple places in a spreadsheet and need to keep flicking back and forth between tabs or parts of the same sheet, you can open up a second view of the same live spreadsheet you are working on and edit in either window at the same time as you need?
Simply go to the View toolbar and select new window

Then you will end up with a second window of the same file. One file will end up with a “1” after the name and the other with a “2” after the name.

But they are both exactly the same file. You can now go to any part of either window that you want so you can see on the screen the parts you want to at the same time! So you might have one tab open on one window and another in the second window, have them side by side and edit at the same time!
When you are done, close one of the windows and then you’ll be left with a single window again. (Don’t panic if it looks like it’s closed the wrong window – for a moment it might show the one you are closing instead of the one you are leaving open! That scares me every time!)
